Ice breakers

Ice Breakers offer a convenient way for your widget users to initiate a conversation with you by providing a list of frequently asked questions. These Ice Breakers will be displayed whenever a visitor begins a new chat.

Setup

To set up Ice Breakers, go to the Live Chat Settings section and turn on the “Enable Ice Breakers” option. Once enabled, you can customize the prompts and automated responses. It’s best to limit the list to a maximum of 5 ice breakers so they fit well in the chat widget.

Ice breakers with Pre-chat form

You can utilize the “Pre-chat” option alongside “Ice Breakers.” With this configuration, the visitor first encounters the Pre-chat form. Once they complete and submit the form, the Ice Breakers will then appear.
